Many authors and publishers in Great Britain are working together to raise money to help Syrian refugees. Waterstones, a British bookselling company, will be selling their books with a special “Buy Books for Syria” sticker on them. Starting on October 1, Waterstones will donate the full price of each book to Oxfam, an organization that supports human rights. They hope to raise 1 million pounds (more than $1,520,000). This much money could provide clean water for 150,000 people.
