Skeletons of nine Neolithic people were found in the Els Trocs cave located in the Spanish Pyrenees mountain range. Archaeologist have examined the bones and said that they show evidence of a massacre. The wounds in the sculls provide evidence that the Neolithic people were shot by arrows at close range and then hit with stones or clubs. Researchers believe that as the people migrated over 7,000 years ago, there were clashes between enemy groups, likely, groups with “different origins and world views.”
