The historic 2020 NBA season came to a close October 11 after the Los Angeles Lakers won 106–93 over the Miami Heat in Game 6. This was the Laker’s 17th title after a 10-year drought. LeBron James was named MVP. He made NBA history as the first person to receive this award from three different teams. The Lakers celebrated their win inside the NBA bubble at Walt Disney World in Florida. No coronavirus cases were reported throughout the season.
