What is this site?
12StoryLibrary.com is a free resource for students to use with their 12-Story Library books. After a student learns about a new topic in one of the books, this site acts as a safe portal to connect that student to a multitude of resources and editor-curated news about that topic.
What type of content is here?
Each 12-Story Library book has its own page filled with relevant news stories, videos, web resources, maps, tables, feeds and more. Editor Picks for each book contain short summaries about timely and relevant news stories, as well as a link to the original source. Because all of the content on these pages is hand-picked by our editors, you can be sure that it’s safe for students.
What is Premium Content?
Premium Content includes an eBook version of the 12-Story Library print book that displays along with the free resources that are available to all. The eBook appears in an easy-to-use flip book format that’s compatible with desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
How can I access Premium Content?
If your school or library owns the print version of a 12-Story Library book, you have free access to the eBook version simply by scanning the QR code found on the back cover of most of the books. For easier access, register for an eBook account. If you’re logged in to 12StoryLibrary.com, the eBook will appear on each page that corresponds with a print book that your school or library owns.

How often is the site updated?
The site is being constantly updated around the clock thanks to the automated feeds found on each page. In addition, we add new Editor Picks every month. You’ll find these Editor Picks in the relevant book page as well as the series page and homepage. Follow 12-Story Library on social media via Facebook and Twitter.
How can I use the site?
Students can explore 12StoryLibrary.com to find the latest updates and resources on their book’s subject or teachers can use the site to facilitate further study with a variety of projects and assignments.
Here’s an easy one: Ask students to go “beyond the book” by finding a news article on 12StoryLibrary.com and then explaining in a blog post why that news is important.

Fiction Series Pages
Each fiction series page includes a series description and links to individual book pages. In addition, you can find polls, quizzes, and author info. This Bridget Gadget page even includes a tech news blog written by Bridget herself.
